Tom Sharon and his deep commitment to Gods work and his conscientious work at the hospital.
Swimming with Aiden and Ryan, and seeing Ryan’s love and joy around Aiden!(pictured)
Sleeping after a long full day.
The nurses and doctors who served on the move teams yesterday, giving time and focus to such a short journey from one building to another, but whose skill made it so efficient and more importantly, uneventfully beautiful.
The people, all across the world I’m sure, who have made my clothes, for whom I am so thankful.
Gods healing through the sometimes quiet and sometimes powerful embrace of a God who loves. I hear it in my meditation time sometimes, and I feel it when friends are by my side, and when mentors share wisdom.
Good wine with good company.
Sharing great time and fellowship with Ben Snyder. Just love he and his wife Nicole!
Sleeping in on Saturday mornings.
The slow rise of the sun every morning, and how hope seems to rise every day with it.
Exposing Ryan to different spirituality, like the Lord’s Prayer, saying things he is thankful for, and walking a labyrinth.
The kindness of others, specifically DeAndre and Liz, who both blessed me immensely Monday and Tuesday. Liz brought me a working thermometer and ice cream for Ryan and DeAndre helped watch Ryan for a short time.
Being back at the hospital after a couple days away.
A restful sleep.
Learning to let go.
Hearing the sounds of the Octonauts in the morning, which means Ryan is with me and his smile not too far away!
