Season tickets to the Dynamo! Loving soccer more and more each day!
The powerful message of telling stories about children who have died. All this past weekend, I was the recipient of so many stories and I welcomed all of them because they are powerful reminders that those children have left many fingerprints in this world.
Camp For All in Brenham TX. What a great camp for kids!
My brother Joe. I love getting to talk to him and hearing about life in Jersey.

Spending time with oncologists who are passionate about getting rid of cancer and love even spending personal time talking cancer. The three oncologists I spent the weekend with inspired me and encouraged me in a lot of ways.
Jeff Fischer- a great SoCal friend and a guy I enjoy talking sports with. Happy birthday Jeff!
Being home. Out for 4 full days, so, back with cute kids, smoking hot wife, and comfortable home. I am grateful.
Beautiful wife! Gorgeous!
National parks that protect and allow amazing beauty to be seen and experienced.
The weekend birthday party for Dave Fuller that included hiking some amazing and grueling trails, canoeing the Rio Grande, and a massive hailstorm while some of the best burgers ever lie almost finished on the grill. Great weekend!
Ryan sleeping. Because 1) he’s cute when he sleeps and 2) because God bless it he’s sleeping!
Marion Carrion, an RN at the hospital. It’s so fun to laugh with her and I love working with her with our families. She’s protective and honest and genuine, which are great characteristics for a nurse. I just love seeing her on the unit!
Strawberries and cream dump cake. Yum!
The laughs and encouragement of the couples we know, starting with Stephen and Dawn Marie who shared Valentines dinner with us last night.
Stephen playing with Ryan. Ryan knows he is loved and I love watching him play with my friends.
Being up for the sunrise this morning. I don’t care where I am- city, beach, in the car to work- a sunrise is welcomed.
Elana’s support of me as I continue to take on professional opportunities. I need to lean in to her more.
Matthew 5:43ff. Loving your enemies is the point, and I know I am feeling the anxiety of Gods grace. God sends the sun and the rain on all alike and that grace is a reminder I should desire sun and rain for those who have hurt me too, and that’s hard. The reward is not necessarily a positive relationship or heaven, but freedom in Gods love from that hurt. I long for that.
