My morning gratitude for:
- My son Ryan. I woke up with him at 7:15ish and he is so talkative, forming syllables with “da” (you know where that’s going!) and playing with every toy. The boy is full of energy, loving peek a boo and eating books, literally. His smile is precious and so meaningful. He’s learned to really throw a tennis ball so our dogs can chase it. Even when cleaning his nose of snot, I say “gentle” to him and he leans in to the tissue and let’s me wipe his nose. So cute, so precious, such a blessing!
- The big windows in our living room that let an immense amount of sunlight into our living space. Makes for a gorgeous morning sitting and watching Ryan play!
- Gabby, a Child Life Specialist at the hospital. I saw her recently in action and she is so genuine with the kids, so respectful of boundaries and yet so open to play. I loved seeing the connections she forms so quickly. And she is so easy to talk to because she comes across as so real and no nonsense.
- Breakfast cereal. I love having it every morning. Favorite cereals: Life, Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds, Frosted Mini Wheats, Shredded Wheat N Bran, Multi Grain Cheerios, Rice Chex.
